Accenture asked touchcast to produce a product for internal where employees take a test to decipher their thoughts and feelings at the same time as teaching them about certain topics. The test would provide insight into conformational bias as the user chose their route through the test.
The client came to me to with the brief of utilising the touchcast experience for the Accenture brief. The test has to contain videos and embedded information throughout the video where the user could learn more about the certain subject being talked about in the video. At the end of each section the user would be given a test that would question their knowledge on the information they had just digested. This meant that experience had to be a semi guided experience where by the user has a set video to watch but can choose to top up their knowledge with extra information throughout with embedded elements on the screen. When these extra elements are clicked we would utilise the touchiest technology to pause the video and load the information on the screen. The user could then quickly and easily return to the video where they left off when they had finished reading the extra information.
Monitoring which extra information the user chooses and the route they take though the questions posed will help to build a picture of the type of user.
